Date Night

Dear Cor,

You and Daddy have not been getting along lately. He teases you and you do not get that he is teasing you. The end result is that you have not been impressed with him.  When Daddy comes home from work, you are usually worked up, getting ready for bed, running around getting into mischief. In the morning, you are a grumpy Gus, just like him. So, likewise, Daddy has not been very impressed with you.

I told Daddy how fabulous you are in the long hours between your grouchy rising and your mischievous bedtime performances and then reminded him that you are not quite three and don't really understand his teasing yet. He decided tonight that perhaps you should spend some one on one time together.

So, tonight you went on a date with Daddy after dinner. You went to 'the Ice Cream Store', otherwise known as Marble Slab. You got chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and gummy bears and you shared it with him.  When you got home, you were covered in chocolate and very much in love with Daddy again. Date night success!
